Who We Actually Are
Started in 2019 when two blockchain developers got tired of seeing people lose money to bad advice and confusing information. We're not here to sell dreams about overnight riches.
Instead, we teach the practical side of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. The stuff that actually matters when you're trying to understand this space without getting burned.
                    How This Started
Back in 2019, the crypto world was a mess. Everyone claiming to be an expert, most of them just repeating what they heard somewhere else. We were working as blockchain developers in Taipei and kept meeting people who'd been taken advantage of by courses promising the moon.
So we started small. Weekend workshops in a borrowed office space. Teaching actual programming concepts, explaining how blockchain networks really work, showing people how to spot scams before they fall for them.
Turns out there was real demand for honest education. By late 2020, we had enough students to make this a proper business. Now we're teaching people across Taiwan and beyond, though we still keep that same no-nonsense approach from those early workshops.
The crypto space changes fast. What worked last year might be outdated now. That's why we update our programs constantly and stay connected to what's actually happening in the industry, not just what makes good marketing copy.
What Guides Our Work
Realistic Expectations
We won't tell you blockchain is going to solve every problem or that crypto will make you wealthy. It's technology with both potential and limitations. Understanding both matters more than hype.
Current Information
This field moves quickly. What we taught six months ago might need updates now. Our curriculum reflects what's actually happening in blockchain development and cryptocurrency markets right now in 2025.
Practical Skills
Theory matters, but being able to actually do something with what you learn matters more. Our programs focus on applicable knowledge you can use, whether you're developing or just trying to participate safely.
The People Behind VotiSpark
We're a small team. Everyone here has hands-on experience with blockchain technology, and most of us came from development backgrounds before moving into education.
                            Oskar Lindgren
Lead Blockchain Instructor
Spent seven years building blockchain solutions before switching to teaching. Originally from Sweden, moved to Taiwan in 2018 because the tech scene here felt more genuine than what he'd seen elsewhere.
                            Briony Caldwell
Cryptocurrency Markets Educator
Started in traditional finance before realizing crypto needed people who could explain complex concepts without the usual jargon overload. Been teaching market analysis and risk management since joining in 2021.
How We Actually Teach
No fancy promises about guaranteed outcomes. We start with fundamentals because most crypto mistakes happen when people skip the basics and jump straight to trading or investing.
Our programs run for several months because you can't really understand blockchain technology in a weekend seminar. We mix technical instruction with practical examples from real projects and actual market situations.
Class sizes stay small. Around twelve to fifteen students per cohort. This way we can answer questions properly and adjust pace based on how people are actually grasping the material, not just following a rigid schedule.
And yeah, we talk about the failures and problems in this space too. Understanding what went wrong with various crypto projects teaches you more than just hearing success stories.
